Anita Jung, originally from Europe, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the author of the therapeutic CD "Words from Within". She began her career studying Bioenergetics and post-modern principles of Counseling and then became intrigued by the work of Milton Erickson.
She has been a student of Stephen Gilligan and also functions as the Director of Counseling Services for a large non-profit organization in Austin, Texas. Her humorous and intrinsic style have made her a very popular workshop presenter
nationally and internationally. Her workshops focus on Ericksonian approaches, mind body awareness, and post-modern principles.
She also maintains a private practice and provides clinical supervision for therapists. Weaving her own creative approach to psychotherapy with the principles of Ericksonian hypnotherapy, bioenerge-tics, solution-focused strategies, stories, and metaphors, she demonstrates how anyone can create and utilize their existing experiences, wisdom, memories, creativity, and imagination to move towards effective solutions.
Anita published the CD "Words from Within" in 2000 and subsequently published the same CD, called "Nach innen hören" in German with the Carl Auer Publishing House in Germany. Both CDs can be used by patients for self-hypnosis or self-healing and by therapists to learn how to set up inductions or use as a double induction during
sessions with their clients.
Her new CD "In Tranquil Silence - Tranceformational Story Mediations for inner strength and self-empowerment" will be released in the next few weeks in the United States and is already available in Germany since January 2007 (German title: "Im Stillen träumen").
